Simone Recasner volunteered with the Project in 2019, both in the Summer Project Exchange: WIN Playmaking and our Winter Playmaking production UPSIDE DOWN, The Topsy-Turvy Plays. This fall she is starring in a new drama on FOX about a reality dance show called THE BIG LEAP. FOX is supporting The 52nd Street Project with a donation to help us continue to offer opportunities for the young people of Hell’s Kitchen in Manhattan to pursue their dreams.

Best Actress in a Drama at the Golden Globes? Our Board Member Fran!
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association chose to honor Frances McDormand with the Golden Globe award for Best Actress in a Drama for her performance in Martin McDonagh’s THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING MISSOURI. Deservedly so, in our opinion!
Fran has been on the Board of The 52nd Street Project since very near the beginning and even served as our Chair for a few years. She is a much beloved fixture around the Project, and we are busting with pride at her (many and continued) accomplishments.
Yay, Fran!
